Terms of Service
Last updated 6 August 2026
These terms govern your use of Pitchr, a marketplace for booking football pitches. By creating an account or making a booking you agree to them. Pitchr is the merchant of record for every booking: you contract with Pitchr, and Pitchr pays the venue.
Who we are
Pitchr is operated by Pitchr Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17295767), whose registered office is at Pinfold House, Corkhill Lane, Southwell, NG25 0PR. In these terms “Pitchr”, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Pitchr Ltd.
Bookings
- All bookings are for a single, fixed 1-hour slot aligned to the top of the hour.
- A booking is confirmed only once payment has succeeded. If payment fails, no booking is created.
- While you check out, your slot is held for up to 30 minutes; if it is not paid for in that time the hold is released.
- You need an account (email and password, Google sign-in, or a one-time email passcode) before paying - there is no guest checkout.
- Bookings cannot be rescheduled. If your plans change, cancel and rebook.
Prices and fees
- The all-in price you see - the pitch fee plus a fixed £1.50 booking fee - is the total you pay. It is shown up front on search results and venue pages, never introduced for the first time at checkout.
- You are never charged separately for card processing.
- The minimum pitch price is £10.00 per hour.
Cancellations and refunds
- You can cancel for a full refund (pitch fee + £1.50) up to more than 24 hours before the slot starts.
- Within 24 hours of the start time, customer cancellation is not available.
- If a venue or Pitchr cancels your booking, you receive a full refund regardless of timing.
Recurring bookings
You can book a weekly series of up to 12 sessions. Dates that are unavailable are shown and excluded, you pay once for the available sessions, and each session can be cancelled individually for a refund of that session.
Acceptable use
Use Pitchr only to make genuine bookings. Do not misuse the service, attempt to interfere with it, or book on behalf of others without authority. We may suspend accounts that abuse the platform.
Your account
You must be 18 or over to hold an account and make bookings. Keep your sign-in details secure and give accurate information. You are responsible for activity on your account. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or that we reasonably believe are being misused.
Liability
Pitches and facilities are provided by the venues. Pitchr is responsible for the booking and payment service; the venue is responsible for the pitch, its condition and on-site safety. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under UK law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The “last updated” date above shows when they last changed, and the terms in force at the time of your booking apply to that booking.
Governing law
These terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the law of England and Wales, and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
